Song Seung-min

  Hangul:  송승민 Song Seung Min is an obscure K-pop singer and pianist. Not much information is known about him except that he started playing piano at 5 years old and states that some of his influences are Eric Clapton, Babyface and the late Yoo Jae Ha ( 유재하) to name a few. 송승민 (2000) His self-named album was released in February of 2000. Label: Donga Corporation Sold on: CD Genre: Pop Style Kpop, Ballad The First Album (2005) The EP was released as a digital single in 2005. One of the songs Rainy Day is originally from his self-named album.  Label: Donga Music, Synnara Music Sold On: Digital Genre: Pop Style Kpop, Ballad It seems that after his EP Song Seung Min has faded into obscurity. See U

  Hangul:   씨유 See U was a short-lived Kpop girl trio from the late 1990s and early 2000s. The trio consisted of members Jinee ( 지니 ), Jihye ( 지혜 ) and Soojin ( 수진 ), who was the maknae of the group. Soojin's father was the CEO of Donga Corporation, which was their record label. In addition, See U would be the last girl group that Donga would create until the company was acquired by Hana Music in the early 2000s. The trio debuted in July of 1999 until their disbandment in 2000. However, their fan base was still active after their disbandment but started to wither out 4 years later. Love Story Vol. 1 (1999) Their first and only album to date was Love Story Vol. 1 was released on June 1, 1999. The album was somewhat successful in sales. The two singles released from the album: Love Story and  친구에서 연인으로 . Hush

  Hangul:  허쉬 Hush was a short-lived R&B, Kpop duo from the late 1990s. They debuted in November 1999 and only released one album to date. The members were Jo Hyun-joo ( 조현주) and Kim Il-jin ( 김일진). Before Hush, Kim Il-jin had worked on albums for artists such as Lena Park, Lee Eun-mi  ( 이은미) and Lee Hyun-do ( 이현도). The persona of the group was portrayed as a "lesbian relationship". Similar to how the female duo Sue ( 수) was portraying themselves.as. Hush (1999) Their only album to date was released in 1999. They released two singles: Hush and Lover which was composed by well-known songwriter and composer Park Eun-tae (박근태). The music video for Lover features Korean comedians such as Kim Jin-soo (김진수), Seo Kyung-seok (서경석) and the Defective Potato ( 불량감자). Shinvi

Hangul:  신비 Shinvi was a short-lived Kpop all female trio from the early 2000s. They were signed to S.M. Entertainment and only released one album to date. The trio was composed of Oh Sang-eun/Sang-eun ( 오상은/ 상은), Yoo Soo-jin/Soo-jin ( 유수진/ 수진) and Yoo-na ( 유나). 15 to 30 (2002) Their only album to date was originally set to be released in late 2001 but was held back for a year later. 15 to 30 was finally released in April 2002. They released two singles from the album: To My Friend and Darling. Jun Jin from boy idol group Shinhwa was featured in the music video for To My Friend. Shinvi had their own website at the time for their fans. A poll was created for the fans to vote on which should be the next single. All in all, Darling would be the next single to be released. Darling was so popular that it was even used on the O.S.T. for the Korean video game Shining Lore. Label: S.M. Entertainment Sold on: CD & Cassette Genre: Pop Style: Kpop Later on in 2002, S.M. B.B

  Hangul:   비비 B.B was a short-lived Eurodance/Eurobeat duo that gained popularity in the mid 1990s by producer Lee Kyung-seop ( 이경섭). Their name is an abbreviation of "Best Beauty". They only released two albums until fading into obscurity. The duo was model Chai So-yeon ( 채소연) and Yoon Yi-ji ( 윤이지). B.B's Come (1996) Their first album was last was released in 1996. Only one single, 비련 was released. 비련 was a major success in Korea and reached the top 10. It is also deemed a one hit wonder for the duo. Cho Sung-mo  ( 조성모) sampled  the song  최후의 선택 under the title  다짐 for his 2000 self-named album. Label: Yedang Records Sold On: CD & Cassette Genre: Electronic Style: Eurodance, Eurobeat Beauty and Best - The Second Album (1997) Beauty and Best is their last official album to date. It was released in the fall of 1997. Their single, 하늘땅 별땅 was also a huge success and made it to the top 10 on Korean charts.  Baby Vox sampled the song 너를 택한 이유 for their 4th album in 2000. 

Taesaja

  Hangul:  태사자 or  太四子 Taesaja was a boy idol group that was prominent in the late 1990s. Their name stems from a Chinese video game character in the well-known Japanese video game series Romance of the Three Kingdoms. They officially debuted on October 20, 1997 and were first signed to Masscom. Ultimately, they disbanded in 2001. Taesaja was originally created to be a rival against another boy idol group NRG. Especially due to the fact that both groups debuted 8 days between each other. In addition, they were also apparently going to be a mixed gender group but changed to be an all-boy group. Taesaja, was seen as unique from the other boy idol groups at the time due to them mostly wearing suits and ties instead of hip-hop street wear which many boy bands aimed at in the 1990s and early 2000s. The group's members were Kim Hyung-jun ( 김형준 (天)) , Park Jun-suk ( 박준석 (雲) ) , Lee Dong-yun ( 이동윤 (雨)) and  Kim Young-min ( 김영민 (風)) . 太四子 (1997) Their first album was released on November 2
