Shinvi

Hangul: 신비

Shinvi was a short-lived Kpop all female trio from the early 2000s. They were signed to S.M. Entertainment and only released one album to date. The trio was composed of Oh Sang-eun/Sang-eun (오상은/상은), Yoo Soo-jin/Soo-jin (유수진/수진) and Yoo-na (유나).

15 to 30 (2002)

Their only album to date was originally set to be released in late 2001 but was held back for a year later. 15 to 30 was finally released in April 2002. They released two singles from the album: To My Friend and Darling. Jun Jin from boy idol group Shinhwa was featured in the music video for To My Friend. Shinvi had their own website at the time for their fans. A poll was created for the fans to vote on which should be the next single. All in all, Darling would be the next single to be released. Darling was so popular that it was even used on the O.S.T. for the Korean video game Shining Lore.

Later on in 2002, S.M. Entertainment released their compilation album '02 SMTown Summer Vacation in SMTown.com, where their song Summer In Love was only released on the compilation. In addition to Summer Vacation they further released a song called Angel My Light on S.M. Entertainment's 2002 Winter Vacation in SMTown.com. Interestingly, Yoo-na is not shown on the compilation cover for Winter Vacation even though she was in the music video for Angel My Light for the trio.

After Winter Vacation, Shinvi seemed to fade into obscurity.

Sang-eun goes under the name Ne;MO and works as a solo artist. It is unknown what the other two members are doing as of this post.
