  Hangul:  유엔 UN was a boy idol duo composed of Kim Jung Hoon (김정훈) and Choi Jung Won (최정원) who used to be in the short-lived boy band group Bronz. Both were about to become solo artists respectively but were then recommended by composer Choi Soo Jung (최수정) that they should be as a duo. Their name's acronym stands for United N-generation. They debuted on July 26, 2000 and disbanded on September 26, 2005. The duo was signed to Raffle (also spelled Laful) Entertainment until their disbandment. Voice Mail (2000) Their first album was released alongside their debut date on July 26, 2000. The album at first had little success but as months went on, the album slowly started to gain traction in popularity. The first single Voice Mail was rated #13 on the K-pop charts.   Hangul:  스페이스에이 Space A was a mixed gender techno, dance group from the late 1990s and early 2000s. They debuted in 1997 and faded into obscurity in 2003. They reunited in 2013 briefly, however. They were a trio at first. The original members consisted of Kim Hyun Jung (김현정) as main vocalist, rapper Jung Soon Won (정순원) who is well known as The One (더원) and E-gu (이구). Space A (1997) Their self-titled debut album was released in October of 1997. The album is considered to be the first enhanced CD in Korea to play a music video on a computer. There were 3 singles to the album: 입술, which was the music video featured on the album. 주홍글씨 and 돈쥬앙. Kang Ji Yeon (강지연) became a temporary addition into the group. They rereleased the album in 1998 in order to include her vocals only for the single, 주홍글씨. However, the music video only featured the original trio.   Hangul:  어스 US was a short spanned mixed gender dance duo from the mid 1990s. The duo was originally Yu Chae Young ( 유채영) who was a former and the original, first female member of the K-pop group Cool ( 쿨)  and Danny. Their peak was when they formed and debuted in 1995. They only released two albums to date. The US Rage To See The Day We Rule! (1995) Their first album was technically released on December 27, 1995, but it wasn't released to be sold to the public until January of 1996. It was a major success. The album sold around 150,000 to 200,000 copies. In addition, it ranked #7 in the K-pop Top 10. The three singles from the album were  지금 이대로, 끝없는 사랑 and Christmas Dream. The singles were officially released before the album on December 10, 1995. 지금 이대로 is basically a Korean translated cover of a German Eurodance singer's song, When I Look Into Your Eyes. But the title name of US's version means "As It Is". It also became a large hit and was played heavily on

  Hangul:   밀크 M.I.L.K was a short-lasting girl group that gained popularity in the early 2000s. They were signed to S.M. Entertainment's sister company BM Entertainment and officially debuted as a group on December 17, 2001. The group consisted of members Park Jae Young ( 박 재 영 ), Kim Bo Mi ( 김보미 ), Bae Yu Mi ( 배유미 ) (Real name: Jessica Bae) and Seo Hyun Jin ( 서현진 ). Their group name is an acronym for Made In Lovely Kin. The only released one album. They disbanded in 2003. S.M. technically formed the group somewhere between 1998-2000 after finding that S.E.S. was their greatest and most successful girl group at the time. S.E.S. being a 1st generation wanted M.I.L.K to be the runner-up for the 2nd generation. In a weekly magazine, it was stated and rumored that Jang Nara was originally planned to be in group, however she herself has explained that that was never the case and that she always wanted a solo career instead of being in a group.   Hangul:  블랙 비트 Black Beat was a boy band that was active in the 2000s. They were signed to S.M. Entertainment and were originally planned to a be 7-member boy band. However, that idea was scratched. And instead became a group of five members. The members consisted of Lee So Min ( 이소민 ), Hwang Sang Hoon ( 황상훈 ), Jung Ji Hoon ( 정지훈 ) and Shim Jae-Won ( 심재원 ) who were both originally members of the short-lived boy band Eagle Five and Jang Jin Young ( 장진영 ) . Before the formation of the group, each of the members were featured in one or a few of the songs acting as backup dancers, vocals or rappers for artists such as BoA, S.E.S. and Shinhwa.
