Toya was a girl trio from the early 2000s. They were formed in 1999 by 백기획 (Baek Ki Chuk) an independent entertainment business owner (and who has worked with other famous celebrities such as actress 이영애 (Lee Young Ae)). The group consisted of  김지혜 (Kim Ji Hye) who was a child model for magazines and was also known for her appearance in boy band 스키스 (SECHSKIES)' 1998 film, SEVENTEEN as member Kang Sung Hoon's girlfriend. The other 2 members were 안진경 (Ahn Jin Kyoung) and 류은주 (Ryu Eun Joo) who was also a magazine model that worked in Japan. Prior to their debut there was an another member 김현지 (Kim Hyun Ji), but quickly backed out due to academic reasons and was replaced by Eun Joo. They were signed to Baek Ki Chuck's label Astars Entertainment. They first debuted in Japan in 2000.

Are You..? (2000)

Are You...? was their first single that was released in Japan on November 1, 2000. The single was sung only in Japanese. They received a great amount of recognition and went on tour there for four months until returning back to Korea in February 2001. Another single that was released only in Japan was Get Set which was also sung in Japanese.

Look (2001)

Their first and final album, Look was released in Korea on July 5, 2001. It was composed by well known composers 박근태 (Park Geun Tae) & 주영훈 (Joo Young Hoon). The singles: 봐 (Look) which features Bobby Kim on rap vocals and 가 (Ga) were released from the album. Look's MV was filmed in Hungary and began airing on cable music video channels in Korea in May 2001. Furthermore, Look was their most popular single out of the two.

The group was going to prepare for their second album but it was shelved and they eventually disbanded in 2003 because their label Astars Entertainment filed for bankruptcy. They did however make a quick comeback in Korea's well known talk show 슈가맨 (Sugar Man) in April of 2016.

Ahn Jin Kyoung went on to become a member of the Baby VOX Re.V for their first two albums in the mid to late 2000s. After leaving the Baby VOX Re.V project, she went solo and released a mini album and a single called Be The Voice in 2010. She also has worked in China as an actress. As of this post, she is currently working as a model.

As for the other two members, both have left the industry and are married: Kim Ji Hye is now a CEO of her own business and married in October 2013. Ryu Eun Joo currently lives in Japan and is married with one son, to a Korean Japanese businessman.
